Susie

Adoptable Medium Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

Susie is an affectionate and playful young lady. She’s looking for her forever home so she can enjoy time with her family.

We’re guesstimating her birthday in March 2018. At about 8 months old, she weighs 45 lb and is nearing her full weight / size as an adult.

Susie is house-trained when kept on a regular schedule. She’s working on crate-training and is leash-trained but will pull. She’s one of the happiest pups in our adoption network and gets along with everyone – as long as they leave her food bowl alone. She can eat in the same room as the other foster dogs, but once she’s finished will offer to clean their bowls. She takes their rebuff in good spirits and waits semi-patiently.

She isn’t much of a barker, unless left outside on a tie-out or in a corral – at which point she barks obnoxiously. She enjoys playing with her doggy friends and foster family outside, but then wants to come in to recharge (nap).

Whether dogs / puppies come in as strays or owner surrenders, we frequently have to make our best guess as to birthdate and breed.

A vet reference is required to confirm responsible pet ownership. We suggest first time pet owners look for an adult dog for companionship and to gain experience.

All adoption fees cover two vaccinations plus spay / neuter if using our veterinarian and surgery occurs as agreed upon. Additional fees for 3rd puppy vaccination, refundable spay/neuter deposit, etc. may apply. We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue. We receive no funding from agencies. Available animals can be seen most Saturdays at Tractor Supply in Lenoir from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We recommend interested parties contact us to pre-qualify for adoption so their new furry family can go home once paperwork is complete. Fees are required in cash. For more information on our organization, our website is www.petpartnersrescue.org.
